Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
This is my favorite scripture about children. I believe every word of what it says. If you raise a child pertaining to what your beliefs are, when they reach adulthood they will not stray away from it. I did not turn from the ways my parents raised me. My daughter is now 23, and she has not turned from the ways my late husband and I raised her.
